I am Mishal Fatima,
a professional screenwriter.
Born in 1997, my journey began in a small town. Despite its rich traditions, the town offered limited pathways for career progression, especially for women. The conventional roles open to me revolved around domestic duties or educational responsibilities within the family circle. Determined to explore wider horizons, I looked for remote opportunities. It was during this quest that I crossed paths with a student from Toronto Film School. With his guidance, I delved into the art of screenwriting. Seeking to refine my craft further, I pursued formal education in screenwriting at Michigan State University.
My journey as a screenwriter has blossomed into a professional career, specializing as a ghostwriter. I’ve crafted over 250 screenplays for both feature films and series, demonstrating not only my proficiency but also my efficiency, often completing a full screenplay in a single day. I have written multiple short films as well. Quality is paramount to me, and the satisfaction of 99% of my clientele reflects this commitment.
In 2021, I decided to deepen my understanding of cinematic storytelling by enrolling in Theatre, Film, and Television studies at Beaconhouse National University, Pakistan. I have completed my Masters of Science in 2023.
